FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - It was rivalry Saturday as Huntington and Saint Francis squared off in both men's and women's college basketball games.
In the men's contest, Saint Francis snapped a three-game losing skid topping the #19 Foresters 82-75. Ethan Hussey led the Cougars' attack with 18 points. Q Owens and Scott Kohne each chipped in 16 points each while Kevin Dawson added 10. Huntington's Caleb Kennedy led all scorers with 24 points.
In the women's game, Huntington's Kelsey Green erupted for 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Foresters to a 70-65 win over Saint Francis. Pazia Speed added 16 points for Huntington. Saint Francis was led in scoring by Meghan Prible with 15 points.
Indiana Tech's women's squad picked up a big 79-58 win over Madonna. Simone Russell had a game-high 25 points to lead the Warriors. Brittnay Jones had 13 points and 14 rebounds for Tech.
