FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The injury bug is really starting to bug Komets captain Colin Chaulk.

According to team officials, Chaulk was added to the 21 day injured reserve list for a foot injury. Chaulk has missed the last six games due to a sore shoulder.

Officials said Tuesday doctors cleaned and drained an abscess in the center's right foot.

It is not believed to be a MRSA staph infection Chaulk suffered in 2009.

David Franke told Blake Sebring of the News-Sentinel that the team expects Chaulk to be skating with the team in 10 to 14 days.

Winger Matt Kennedy was also added to the 21 day injured reserve list Tuesday after a strained groin in Sunday's game.
