HUNTINGTON, IN. (WANE) - Carroll saw its season come to an end with a thrilling five-set loss to Penn in semi-state on Saturday morning. The Chargers took the first set 25-18 and nearly captured set two, before falling 27-25. The two teams would split sets three and four, before Penn squeaked by with a 15-12 win in the decisive fifth set.

Chargers senior Audrey Mallers led the way with 15 kills, while Jaqueline Quade and Jocie Bollinger each added 13.
