FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Bishop Luers left little doubt it was the best team in its regional this year - blowing out Oak Hill 9-1 to advance to semi-state on Saturday afternoon. Mayson Whitman led the way with four goals, including three straight in the second half. Kelly Dwire added three of her own.

Up in Kendallville, Bishop Dwenger went into the half in a scoreless tie with Leo, despite having several good chances early on. The Saints scored twice in the final period though to secure a spot in semi-state.
