Dwenger Wins Sectionals By One Stroke

Bishop Dwenger edged Canterbury by one stroke to win the sectional title Friday at Brookwood Golf Course, 307 to 308. Northrop finished third at 322.

Dwenger's Austin Stonebreaker and Canterbury's Stefan Katzenmeier & Austin West tied atop the leaderboard at 73. Katzenmeier won a six-hole playoff to take medalist honors.

At LaFontaine Golf Course in Huntington the Norwell Knights edged Huntington North for the team title, 305 to 307. Norwell's McCormick Clouser won medalist honors after a playoff. Full results linked below:

At Noble Hawk Homestead ran away with the sectional title by shooting a 284 to top second place Carroll's 304. Homestead's Tom Kocks shot a 66 to win. Full results linked below:
