BASK: Rinehart Commits To IPFW

Spiece Gym Rat FW 2013 and Angola High School 5’7” Point Guard Rachel Rinehart today gave IPFW Women’s Basketball Coach Chris Paul a Verbal Commitment to play for the Mastodons.

Rachel made this decision after developing a strong relationship with Coach Paul and his staff and deciding that IPFW is the best fit for her academically, athletically, and due to the fact that IPFW is close to home so friends and family can see her play.  “We are very Proud of Rachel’s decision to attend IPFW, Rachel is a very talented player who will do well in Coach Paul’s system”- Coach Gil Farley –Spiece Gym Rats FW 2013

Rachel decided on IPFW after receiving several Division One offers and narrowing down her final list to IPFW, Eastern Illinois, and Quinnipiac University.

Rachel is a left-handed 2013 Guard who is aggressive and versatile on the court.  As a PG, Rachel is very skilled offensively and in transition. She is also a Very tenacious defender.

As a JR at Angola High School last season,  she averaged 14.5 points per, 5.8 ast per, 5.8 stls per.  Rachel Joins her Gym Rats FW 2013 Teammate and Ft Wayne Southside Ariana Simmons as a future IPFW Mastodon.
