FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - In a match-up between the top two boys 1A soccer teams in the state, No. 1 Guerin Catholic snuck past No. 2 Bishop Luers to remain unbeaten on the season. Guerin scored with less than two minutes in regulation to escape with a 1-0 win.
Both teams had several chances in the first half, but thanks to stout play in net from both squads and a few lucky breaks, the teams were deadlocked in a scoreless tie after 40 minutes of play.
