FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - No. 1 Canterbury opened the Snider Kilmer Classic in style - cruising past Northrop 80-42. Four different Cavaliers scored in double figures including Bailey Farley who netted a game-high 23 points and Kindell Fincher who scored 18. Canterbury shot 44 percent from the floor while forcing the Bruins into 28 turnovers and 33 percent shooting.
In game two the morning, host Snider started fast on its way to a 73-34 win over Wabash. Meredith Shipman led the way for the Panthers with 17 points, spearheading a 21-4 run to open the game. Deja Wimby added 15 points as Snider's pressure forced the Apaches into 32 turnovers.
