Four Saints Sign For College

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Continuing its longstanding tradition of sending players to the next level - three members of the Bishop Dwenger football program signed national letters of intent to play in college on Wednesday.

All-SAC lineman Blake Bowers is heading to Indianapolis to play with defending NAIA national champion Marian University. Bowers earned First-Team IFCA All-State honors as a senior.

Two-way standout Nick German signed with Dayton after earning All-SAC honors as a cornerback and standing out offensively as well as a wide receiver. Fellow defensive back Gerald McGee is on his way to Grand Valley State after a career that included seven interceptions.

Kathryn Jenkins also signed on Wednesday, she's joining the IPFW women's soccer team.
