BSoc: Cavs, Knights Win Sectionals

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - The fifth ranked Canterbury boys soccer team is moving on to regionals. The Cavaliers blanked Concordia 4-0 Saturday night to claim a sectional championship. Senior Al Stovall keyed a two-goal first half for Canterbury that put them ahead for good, before the Cavs added two more goals in the second half.

Across town, No. 2 Bishop Luers improved its record to 18-1-1 and captured a sectional championship in the process, shutting out Heritage 3-0. Senior Jacob Murphy provided all of the offense for the Knights on Saturday night, recording a hat trick in the win.
