Bishop Luers football standout Kenny Mullen isn't waiting until his senior season to make his college choice. The cornerback slash running back has verbally committed to the Indiana University Hoosiers.
Mullen led the Knights to the 2A state title last fall. He rushed for almost 1,100 yards and 30 touchdowns.
Mullen will join 2009 Luers grad Lawrence Barnett in IU's defensive backfield. Barnett redshirted in Bloomington last season but is expected to play a major role for the Hoosiers in 2010.
Mullen picked IU over Ohio State, Michigan State and Purdue.
