FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Defending Class A champion Canterbury is on a mission - don't let the record fool you. The Cavaliers blanked West Noble 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Garrett to advance to semi-state. Junior Britt Watts proved the difference maker, scoring a pair of second half goals, while assisting on Canterbury's first half goal from Cole Walker.

Meanwhile in 2A action at Carroll High School, DeKalb advanced with a 2-1 win over Bishop Dwenger in a hotly contested final. The match was scoreless at halftime before Barons senior Austin Sibery opened the scoring off a free kick in the 49th minute. The Saints answered in the 66th minute with a free kick goal of their own coming from Kenny Gase - but the celebration was short lived. Just over one minute later Sibery struck again, launching a rocket from 30 yards out that proved to be the game winner.
