Three Bishop Dwenger Seniors Sign

A crowd gathered in the Bishop Dwenger library Monday, December 10, as family, classmates and administration showed their support as three students signed on with various colleges to continue their athletic and academic careers.

 

Julie Bazur will be playing NAIA Softball under the direction of Becky Norris at Indiana Tech where she will be studying Elementary Education.  When Julie’s not playing travel softball, she’s a member of the BD State Champ 2010 team and SAC Champ 2010 & 2011 teams. Julie has been named Defensive Player of the Year 2012, Team Captain 2012, and one of the area leaders in RBIs 2012.

 

Ally Christman will be playing NCAA Basketball and studying Physical Therapy at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. Ally’s personal accolades’ include: best 3pt field goal percentage; most steals, best free throw percentage, most assists, best field goal percentage, and has been named Player of the Week.

 

Erica Miller will be playing softball under the direction of Coach Scott Fleming at Marian University where she plans to study Business. Besides being a member of NHS, Key Club, and the Golf team, Erica has been named Team Captain 2012, Rookie of the Year 2010, Defensive Player of the Year 2011, MVP 2012, and 1st Team All SAC 2012.
