INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - It was uncharted territory for the Homestead boys soccer team, but the Spartans played like veterans before Zionsville walked away with the trophy.

The Spartans got on the board first in the state championship match when Kegan Harkenrider scored in the 15th minute, but Zionsville would tack on two goals before the half and another in the second half to earn their first state championship in boys soccer, 3-1.

On the girls side, Snider made their second straight appearance in the title game, but unfortunately the Panthers fell short for a second straight year falling to Indianapolis Cathedral, 2-0.
