FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Isaac Griffith became IU's first commit from the class of 2013 when he verballed to the Hoosiers this past summer. He followed through on that promise Wednesday, signing a full scholarship with Indiana to play for coach Kevin Wilson.
As a senior, Griffith caught 29 passes for 597 yards.
As a junior last season Griffith caught 60 passes for 1,112 yards and 23 touchdowns.
Griffith had offers from Ball State, Miami of Ohio, Ohio, Toledo, Kent State and Wyoming. He was receiving interest from Illinois, Purdue and Northwestern before he committed to I.U.
Meanwhile, Spartan running back Grayson Bastin inked with Valparaiso on Wednesday as well. He expects to spend time at both running back and wide receiver.
Receiver Seth Coate and kicker/punter Nolan McMahon both signed with Saint Francis.
