GVB: Carroll Tops Bellmont In Five Sets

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Two of the area's best clashed on the volleyball court Thursday night at Carroll outlasted Bellmont 3-2.
The games scores were 25-21, 25-21, 10-25, 23-25, 15-11.
Charlotte Conser and Audrey Mallers each tallied 14 kills to lead the Chargers. Copeleigh Ortiz registered four aces while Conser added three.
Carroll improves to 17-1 on the season and 3-0 in NHC play.
Bellmont came in ranked no. 2 in this week's 3A state poll. Carroll is receiving votes in the 4A poll.
