EAST NOBLE, Ind. (WANE) - Bishop Dwenger and Leo will meet in the 2A regional title match on Saturday as both teams won in semifinal action on Wednesday night.
In the early game Dwenger sophomore Kellee O'shaughnessy scored all four goals as the Saints blanked the Knights 4-0.
In the late game an Allison Link goal for Homestead off a corner kick would knot the game at one and help send it to overtime. After a scoreless OT and an even outcome in the first round of penalty kicks the game would go to sudden death PKs. Leo's Erika Ruhl would convert her kick while Homestead would miss resulting in a 2-1 win for Leo.
The regional championship match is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday at East Noble high school.
