GBB: Buck's 28 Lead Homestead Over BD

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Sydney Buck started her junior season with a bang as the sharp-shooting guard led Homestead to a 72-47 win at Bishop Dwenger.

It was the season opener for Homestead, who is ranked no. 22 in the state's latest 4A poll.

Buck poured in 28 points to lead the Spartans. Grace German added 20 for Homestead.

Bishop Dwenger was led by senior Ally Christman's 15 points. Kathryn Jenkins chipped in 12.

Dwenger falls to 1-2 with the loss.
