MONROEVILLE, Ind. (WANE) - Despite 35 points from Sierra Miranda North Side couldn't overcome the balanced scoring of Heritage as the Patriots topped North Side 54-49 in girls basketball on Wednesday night.
Heritage had three players in double figures - Katie Saalfrank (18 points), Kendall Knapke (16), and Jackie Neimeyer (10).
Meanwhile, Miranda's 35 points included five three-pointers and a 6-for-6 performance from the free throw line.
Heritage is now 1-0 on the season while North Side falls to 0-1.
