SOC: Snider Girls & Canterbury Boys Win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Canterbury girls lost to Snider 3-0 while the Canterbury boys topped Blackhawk 2-1 in a Tuesday night double header at Hancock Field.

In the girls game Meredith Shipman and Mckenzie Kell each scored in the first half as Snider jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Kell second in the second half to set the final at 3-0. Canterbury came in ranked no. 9 in 1A.

In boys action Canterbury's Britt Watts scored in the first half to give the Cavs a 1-0 lead at intermission. Both teams scored in the second half as Chase Moyle (Canterbury) and James Freeborn (Blackhawk) would find the net. Canterbury came in ranked no. 5 in 1A with Blackhawk ranked no. 10.
