CHURUBUSCO, Ind. (WANE) - After 11 season as the head coach at Churubusco Lee Etzler has stepped down to spend more time with his family.

Etzler's teams went a combined 85-40 during his tenure leading the Eagles. That includes a 10-2 mark last season.

Etzler turned in his letter of resignation to Churubusco athletic director Andrew Wagner today, making the move official.

In his letter Etzler praised the players, community, and administration at Churubusco high school. He noted the need to step away from the time commitment football requires to spend more time with his family. Etzler also stated he is not pursuing or planning to pursue another coaching job.
