FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - No. 3 Canterbury topped no. 23 Carroll 4-1 Wednesday to bring home another regional title for the Cavaliers.
Carroll's Ross Marano won the no. 1 singles match against Clay Hoffacker 7-6, 7-6, but that was Carroll's lone win.
Canterbury advances to semi-state where they'll play at Homestead at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers will face the winner of Angola & Fairfield. That regional match was postponed tonight due to rain. It has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. tomorrow.
