FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Boys sectional soccer titles were on the line at both Pat Teagarden Field and Hefner Fields on Wednesday night in northeast Indiana.
2A BOYS SOCCER
At Teagarden Field it was the host Homestead beating North Side 8-0. Alex Mitrevski and Chris Anderson netted two goals apiece to pace HHS The 18th-ranked Spartans move on to regional action next Thursday at 7 p.m. at Carroll high school where Homestead will take on the champion from the DeKalb sectional.
At Hefner it was Bishop Dwenger over Northrop 3-1 for the sectional title. Kenny Gase, Dominick Parsons, and Ben Collis scored for the Saints while Dalton Atchison scored the lone goal for the Bruins.
At Plymouth no. 3 Warsaw shut out Wawasee 5-0. In the nightcap Culver Academies beat NorthWood 3-0. The sectional title match will be played at 7 p.m. Saturday.
At DeKalb it was East Noble topping Leo 2-0 while DeKalb got two goals from Brennan Cochran to beat Angola 5-0. The sectional title game is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday with East Noble facing DeKalb.
At Norwell Wayne beat New Haven 2-1 while Norwell edged Bellmont 1-0. The championship match is set for 10 a.m. Saturday.

At Blackhawk no. 2 Bishop Luers bested no. 10 Blackhawk 4-0. In the other semifinal it was Heritage over South Adams 8-0 behind a hat-trick from Aaron Horne. The title match will be played at 7 p.m. Saturday.
At Canterbury the fifth-ranked Cavaliers topped Manchester 7-1. In the other semi it was Concordia over Whitko 10-0. The title match is at 7 p.m. Saturday.
At Hamilton it was Garrett hammered Hamilton 7-1 behind a hat-trick from Karsten Cooper while Lakewood Park beat Central Noble 8-0. Title match is set for 7 p.m. Saturday.
In 1A action at Westview it was Lakeland blanking Howe 10-0 and West Noble edged Westview 2-1. The sectional championship game is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday.
