FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - 1997, 1998, 2001, 2011, and now 2012.
Those are the season in which Canterbury has brought home a boys soccer state title, with the latest one earned this past Saturday. The Cavaliers beat Covenant Christian 5-0 in the class A title game on Saturday in Indianapolis, clinching their second state championship in a row.
Senior Chase Moyle was named the Cato Mental Attitude Award winner after the game.
The Cavaliers end the season with a 16-6-1 record under coach Greg Mauch.
