11/28 Prep Basketball Recap

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The 4A no. 3 South Side girls almost hit triple digits as the Archers took down 1A no. 1 Canterbury on Wednesday night to headline local prep basketball action.

South Side won 97-73 at Canterbury. IPFW signee Ariana Simmons led South with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting. Lakyn Gulley had 18 (all on three-pointers), Lynnia Noel 14, and De'Joyah Johnson 12 for South as well.

Canterbury was led by Darby Maggard with 24 points. Loyala signee Bailey Farley had 19 while Xavier commit Kindell Fincher chipped in with 18.
