FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) According to the Decatur Police Department, a semi driver was driving south on 13th Street on his way to make a delivery at Wal Mart.

The GPS led the semi driver to an old Wal Mart location and told him to turn left.  Once he was in the parking lot of the Pizza Hut, he realized he was in the wrong location.

The driver tried to get out of the parking lot but in the process hit the power lines and knocked down two transformers. Power to every business between US 224 and Washington Street on the west side of 13th Street was knocked out as a result.

According to officials, it will be some time before power is restored.

The crash also caused and electrical fire at a building owned by Custom Car Care. That fire was quickly put out.  There were no injuries.
