Police: Helmer house fire "suspicious"

HELMER, Ind. (WANE) - A house fire on SR 327 and 762 South in Helmer, Indiana broke out at around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night.
The Steuben County Sheriff's Department said the fire took almost two hours to get under control. Ten fire departments were called to the scene.
No one was hurt.
Police said Monday that the fire was "suspicious" because the house had been abandoned.
Anyone with information about the fire can anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 668-STOP (7867) or 1-800-600-HALT (4258) or email police using the Crime Stoppers website .
