KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) - The Kendallville Fire Department was called to a house fire at Shakopee Lake at around 5 a.m. on Thursday.
Firefighters said a family of five and three dogs escaped without any injuries.
Preliminary reports said the fire began in the chimney.
