FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Firefighters, police and an ambulance responded to a problem in the 1200 block of Dodge Avenue in Fort Wayne Thursday afternoon.
A viewer sent NewsChannel 15 a photo and video of the incident.
According to the Fort Wayne Fire Department, crews were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. There was smoke coming from the back of the house and crews found fire near the electrical meter
There was moderate fire, water and smoke damage to the house.
There was no one inside the home at the time of the fire. The firefighters on the scene did rescued three pets from the house: a dog, cat and a snake.
