ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Viewers used Report!t to send us these photos of flooded county roads following heavy rains in the Fort Wayne area.

The National Weather Service's campaign, Turn Around, Don't Drown (TADD) , urges people to turn around when they see flooded roadways. Each year, more deaths occur due to flooding than from any other severe weather related hazard. The Centers for Disease Control reports that over half of all flood-related drownings occur when a vehicle is driven into hazardous flood water.

For more information and resources, check out the National Weather Service's site on TADD.

Over Saturday and Sunday, Allen County received 1.69 inches of rain. Allen County saw 1.14 inches of rain on Sunday, which was a record high.

Blackford County received the most rain in our area and saw 3.22 inches of rain over the weekend.
