GARRETT, Ind. (WANE) James Sparkman used Report !t to send WANE this picture of a car in a house in Garrett, Ind.
According to the Garrett Police Chief Keith Hefner, the accident happened between 10:30 am. and 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Cowen and Keyser in Garrett.
Hefner said the driver of the car, and elderly woman, ran stop sign, struck another vehicle and drove into the home. She suffered minor injuries.
The house has been put up for sale and was not occupied; it has been sold but the sale has not yet closed. The foundation of the home was damaged but the extent of the damage is not known.
