Winter St. fire leaves home damaged
Heavy fire and smoke damage to first floor.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department is investigating an early morning house fire after units arrived to find the home with smoke and flames coming from the first floor.
At 2:15 a.m. Saturday morning, units responded to a fire at 4125 Winter Street.
It took 15 minutes to get the flames under control. The home suffered heavy fire damage to the living room and heavy smoke damage to the rest of the house.
No one was home and police were unable to obtain who lived in the home.
