BUTLER, Ind. (WANE) - It's been a week since police found a missing teenager from Butler: she was in Florence, Kentucky with a sex offender. And there are still a lot of unanswered questions about her disappearance.
NewsChannel 15's Megan Reust went looking for answers in Butler.
Butler Police are being pretty closemouthed. They aren't telling NewsChannel 15 anything new.
Police Chief, Jim Nichols, said "Since it's an on going investigation involving a juvenile who has already been located, I cannot release anymore information at this time." We found some of Killian's friends in Butler Friday afternoon. They know her younger brother well and said Killian ran away freely with sex offender, Bradley Magiera.
"She went willing with him," Killian's friend Tyler Moreno said, "She is on her way back home."
"Family is already out there. She's a very good person. I bet a lot of people will be very happy."
Last week Chief Nichols said Bradley Magiera would go back to Michigan. That's because he violated his parole when he cut off his ankle bracelet and left the state to run away with Killian.
NewsChannel 15's Megan Reust went to Killian's father's home Friday night and he was not there. Her mother has not returned any of Reust's calls this week.
If we learn anything new, we'll certainly pass along the information to you.
