NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Noble County Deputies are investigating an early morning crash that injured two people.

It happened at 12:26 Sunday morning in the area of U.S. 6 and Lincoln Street in Brimfield. Police say the driver, Cledith Slone and passenger Paula Francis, both from Kentucky were hurt. They were traveling west on U.S. 6 when they crossed into the eastbound lane and left the road.

The vehicle, a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse, hit a 16-foot aluminum boat and it's trailer before hitting a garage. The driver and passenger were both taken to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Their conditions are unknown.

A criminal investigation is pending results from the hospital.
