FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Crews from Indiana Michigan Power are working to repair utility poles that were knocked over during Wednesday night’s storms.
A portion of Carew Street, near Parkview Hospital on State Boulevard, is now closed while the poles are being fixed.
The closure is impacting some of the Parkview Hospital patients. Parkview Heart Institute patients should use the main hospital entrance off Randallia Drive.
Carew Street is open from Lake Avenue to Carew Medical Park for patients going to that building.
It is not known how long it will take crews to repair the poles.
I & M officials said they expect all customers to be restored by 4 p.m.
