FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police announced Thursday they have made an arrest in the Wednesday stabbing on St. Mary’s Avenue that left one man in critical condition.
According to FWPD, Melvin Sanders, 19, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.
Just before 5 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the North Highlands Apartments in the 2100 block of St. Mary’s Avenue for a large fight outside.
One man, Eric Robinson, 23, was stabbed several times and was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital in critical condition.
