MITCHELL, S.D. (AP/CBS) - Two former Fort Wayne residents are charged with the murder of a South Dakota teenager.

Tuesday night police in Mitchell, South Dakota, got a call about a grass fire. That call led to a gruesome discovery inside the trunk of a charred car. Police found a body they believe is 16-year-old Jasmine Guevara. Guevara had been missing since earlier that day.

Alexander Salgado, 22, of Fort Wayne and a 15-year-old girl also from Fort Wayne are charged with her murder. They face charges for first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and aiding and abetting.

Salgado and the 15-year-old moved to South Dakota from Fort Wayne a month ago. Police say they were acquaintances of Guevara.

The results of an autopsy on the body found in the trunk are pending.
