FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- As snowy weather moved in late Friday afternoon, road conditions became difficult for some folks.
Fort Wayne police officers were busy Friday evening with more than 70 reported accidents, slide offs and cars stalling. Officers said the biggest problem was cars dying in the middle of some roads.
The Allen County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police weren't nearly as busy responding to accidents. According to the county it had 10 accidents due to the weather. ISP had 9. Seven of which were in Huntington County, two in Allen County.
