ANGOLA, Ind. (WANE) - There’s no need to search for the “Made in America” label on products at one northeast Indiana business.
American Made Shopper opened in Angola in May 2010. The retailer provides products made exclusively in the United States by more than 170 vendors.
The store’s owner, Jeff Face, has plans of expanding his idea into licensed store fronts in other cities in the region. The corporate goal is to open 500 stores, he said.
Some customers found browsing the aisles of food, crafts and tools travel dozens of miles to buy American.
Norman Garrison of Waterloo said the store makes his mission of buying solely American made products easy with a one-stop shop.
“If stores like this would grow and more products would be made in America for us then we could get the American people back to work,” Garrison said.
American Made Shopper is located at 2010 N Wayne Street in Angola.
