FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Paul Helmke, former Fort Wayne mayor and former President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, sat down with Heather Herron Monday night to discuss gun control.
Helmke said we can stop things like the Newtown school shooting from happening by having stricter gun laws in the United States.
"We can't keep going on doing nothing. It's not easy, there's no one simple solution to this, but we need to start talking about this," Helmke said.
