October 9: Last day to register to vote in Indiana

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - The final day to register to vote or make changes to existing voter registration records for the November 6 General Election in Indiana is Tuesday, October 9.

Registrations can be made in person at the Allen County Voter Registration office, at 1 West Superior Street, Suite 111, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

On Monday, October 8, the Allen County Voter Registration Office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, October 9, the Voter Registration Office will open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These are extended hours.

All mail-in registrations must be postmarked no later than October 9 to be processed for the 2012 General Election. New registrations received by mail must include documentation verifying the voter's name and address.

Online voter registrations must be submitted to www.indianavoters.com by 11:59 p.m. on October 9.
