FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - One person is dead following a shooting inside a liquor store on Fort Wayne's southeast side Friday night.

Saturday, the Allen County coroner identified the victim as Christopher M. Mhoon, 27, of Fort Wayne. The report said he died of gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, Mhoon was killed at the Cap n' Cork in the 5700 block of South Anthony Blvd. around 9:15 p.m. Friday.  Witnesses told police they saw two men verbally arguing with each other, then the argument turned physical.  That's when one of the men shot the other multiple times.  The suspect then fled the scene.

The Fort Wayne Police Department says they'll continuing their investigation by interviewing other witnesses and trying to get a suspect description.

If you have any information about the shooting you're asked to call police.

Mhoon's death is the 18th homicide in Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2012.
