LINWOOD, Mich. (AP) - Festival-goers can pick up pecks of pickles in Bay County this weekend.

The 33rd annual National Pickle Festival kicks off Friday in Linwood and runs through Sunday. It will be held at Linwood Bicentennial Park.

The celebration of pickled cucumbers will feature a Pickle Pageant on Friday night, followed by a teen dance. A town parade Saturday morning will be followed by fireworks at dusk. Carnival rides will be offered all three days, as will a beer tent.

Buttons to access the beer tent cost $4 and are good throughout the weekend.
