AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) - A month after a Judge ordered it to be sold at a Sheriff's sale , the National Military History Center announced on Thursday it had reached an agreement with the bank and would remain open.
The National Military History Center sent out a release on Thursday stating that it would be "business as usual" for the museum.
The release said the Dean V. Kruse Foundation, which runs two museums in Auburn had reached an agreement with Farmers State Bank.
The details of the agreement were not released.
A month ago, NewsChannel 15 reported that a $2.9 million debt had led to a DeKalb County judge ordering some of Dean Kruse's property to be sold at a Sheriff's sale. The National Military History Center and the building intended to be the Andy Granatelli Museum were to be included in the sale.
