FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Officials at Northwest Allen County Schools are getting close to naming a new superintendent.

School board president, Don Duff says their search is down to three Indiana candidates from outside of the school system.

Steve Yager left the position during the summer of 2009 to become superintendent of Southwest Allen County Schools .

NACS hopes to name their new leader by April.
