Four hurt in Waterloo crash

WATERLOO, Ind. (WANE) - Two vehicles were totaled and four people were hurt after a crash Sunday afternoon in Waterloo.

Shelly Kennedy, 38, of Auburn was driving north on County Road 27 in a Chrysler Town and Country Van. After stopping at U.S. 6, she drove into traffic and was t-boned by Shannon Kruger, 38, also of Auburn driving a Pontiac Grand Am.

Kennedy complained of chest pain. Kruger broke her leg and had to have surgery.

Tyler Maynard, 15, Anastasia Maynard, 18, and Adrian Maynard, 13, were in the Pontiac. Anastasia complained of chest and knee pain. Adrian complained of chest and stomach pain.

Police said all the people in the Pontiac went to the hospital.

Kruger got tickets for not having a valid license or insurance. Kennedy got a ticket for failure to yield the right of way.
