Man finds wife dead on weight bench

WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - The Wabash County Sheriff's Department is working a death investigation. The department is waiting on a search warrant to enter a home at 5581 E. 800 South in southern Wabash County.

Sheriff Leroy Striker says 39 year old Scott Pattison told police he arrived home from work to find his unresponsive wife, 36 year old Lisa Pattison who had been working out on a weight bench. The man told police his wife was blue.

He put her in the back of his pickup truck and started driving to a Grant County hospital. The man called emergency officials while he was driving. Police met up with him and found the woman was dead.

Striker says he hopes the death is in fact accidental, but at this time they're treating it as a suspicious death. The Grant County Sheriff's department is helping with this case.
