He listened to constituents in Huntington and Peru

It started in Peru..."It's going to turn into a monopoly, we are going to have less doctors, and less qualified doctors," said a man in Peru.

It ended in Huntington..."They do not care about the individuals their purpose is to make money," said a woman in Huntington.

It was peaceful at times...Thank you for being here and I appreciate your position on health care," said a woman in Huntington.

And heated at others..."We need someone to tell the truth, we need someone who is not going to toe the party line, but toe the American line and tell the truth," said a woman in Huntington.

The message was loud and clear, people want the health care system to change.

"We need to be able to inject true competition into the insurance industry, keep insurance companies honest, and allow folks to have a truly national and portable insurance policy," said David Tharp from Peru.

"I think there needs to be a subtle change but not a whole overhaul," said Kim Edris from Huntington.

Congressman Dan Burton is against Obama's health care plan. He wants to see his plan pass.

He wants more competition by allowing people to cross state lines to get insurance, and he wants to provide tax credits for people who can't afford health insurance.

"We provide a mechanism for people to get it at a lower cost, as far as being able to solve every single problem just like that, that's a very difficult thing to do," said Dan Burton, (R) 5th District.

Many of the unemployed and uninsured say it's not enough. They cannot afford Cobra or any other type of private health insurance.

They want the public option, so much so, it got heated at times during both town hall meetings.

Those who agree with Burton are afraid of a possible government take over with severe consequences.

"I just think we are headed toward a dictatorship really soon if people don't wake up," said Edris.

There's no end in sight to this debate, but one thing's for sure; the American people will make sure their voices are heard.
