HUDSON, Ind. (WANE) - A 22-year-old that ran his car off County Road 11 in Hudson and hit a tree did not survive the accident Saturday.

Just before 1:00 Saturday morning, police were called to reports of a crash on County Road 11 in Dekalb County. When police arrived, they found a 1997 bronze four-door Buick passenger car had gone off the road and hit a tree and came to rest on its top.

The driver, Tyson Gordon of Hamilton, was the only one in the car at the time, had been pinned inside. He was pronounced dead by authorities from the DeKalb County Coroner's Office when he was removed him from his car.

Investigators determined Gordon was driving south on County Road 11 near the DeKalb/Steuben County line, west of Hudson and failed to negotiate a curve in the blacktop road and as a result, hit the tree. The Buick rolled over on its top an suffered extensive damage.

The final result of the cause of Gordon's death will be determined by the DeKalb County Coroner, Jeff Warner.
