FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Allen County Prosecutor's Office is now telling the public the results of it's investigation into a police action shooting.

On January 14, 2009, Fort Wayne police officer Peter Mooney shot and killed Anthony W. Taylor, 54.  Taylor pointed a gun at police after they chased him to the corner of Coliseum and Clinton.

Police were chasing Taylor because they believed he was involved in a bank robbery in Avilla, Ind.

Now, the prosecutor's office says there will be no charges filed against Officer Mooney.  The prosecutor's office has ruled Mooney was justified in his actions.
